Privacy Policy

The short version: ForgeLift collects nothing. Your data stays on your device and in platform storage you choose to use. We run no ForgeLift data servers, use no analytics, show no ads, and never see your workout, nutrition, weight or health data.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter — workouts, sets, food entries, water, weigh-ins and settings — is stored in the app's private storage on your device.

• iPhone: if you enable iCloud sync or backups, encrypted copies are stored in your personal iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit private database and your iCloud Drive). Only your Apple Account can access them; the developer cannot.
• Android: there is no ForgeLift account or live server sync. Android may include the app's local data in an encrypted operating-system backup or a device-to-device transfer when your device and Google account support it. This recovery is controlled by Android and Google, not by ForgeLift. Health Connect permissions, Health Connect-derived cache, device sync preferences and widget data are excluded from ForgeLift's Android backup scope.

What we collect

Nothing. The app sends no workout, nutrition, weight or health data to the developer or to third parties. There are no ForgeLift accounts, analytics or tracking SDKs, advertising, or developer-operated crash-reporting services. Apple and Google may provide store or operating-system diagnostics under the privacy choices and terms of your device account; ForgeLift does not add a separate diagnostics service.

Apple Health and Health Connect

Health access is optional and is requested only after you choose to connect it.

• iPhone / Apple Health: ForgeLift may read steps, active energy, body weight and sleep, and may write gym sessions and weigh-ins.
• Android / Health Connect: ForgeLift may read steps, active calories, weight and sleep, and may write weight and exercise sessions.

ForgeLift uses this data only to show your activity and weight inside the app and to save the workout or weigh-in records you choose to sync. Health data remains on your device and in the platform health store. ForgeLift does not transmit it to the developer, use it for advertising, sell it, or share it with third parties. You can change or withdraw access at any time in Apple Health/iOS Settings or Health Connect/Android Settings. Previously cached Health Connect data stays device-local and is not included in ForgeLift JSON exports or Android backups.

Deleting your data

• On this device: Settings → Danger zone → Reset all data inside the app, or delete the app.
• iCloud backups: delete them in the app's backup list, or in the Files app under iCloud Drive → ForgeLift.
• iCloud sync copy: managed through your iCloud storage settings.
• Android recovery copy: Android/Google backup and device-transfer copies are managed through your device and Google account backup settings. ForgeLift cannot inspect or guarantee those operating-system backups.
• Health records: manage or delete records through Apple Health or Health Connect. Resetting ForgeLift does not delete records already written to a platform health store.

Because there are no accounts and no developer-held data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone — including children — because it collects no information at all.

Changes

If a future version of the app ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated here first and the effective date revised.
